The Non-Violence Initiative is not just focused on fighting crime or guns. Our strategy is vested in creating an environment where no violence will exist in the first place.
The first step is to get the nation's attention. Our outreach strategy is to encourage US government leaders to recognize April 4th as a Day of Non-Violence.
We have programs and initiatives that can be tailored to the specific needs of each city, working through local clergy and law enforcement to address issues like domestic violence, gang violence, or police violence.
These initiatives are based on the teachings and principles of Jesus as translated and interpreted by Gandhi, King, and Dr. Hak Jan Han Moon who is alive today.
